For school...mythology?

Question

i have to read edith hamilton's mythology book. i have to finish it and take notes. i am not interested in this stuff AT ALL so i get through a page and stop because it feels like ive been working on it forever. how can i make this better? or more enjoyable?

Truthfully there probably isn't much you can do, but just get through it. Either you like the subject or you don't, and if you don't there isn't much that you can do to make it more interesting. Not sure how long you have until you have to turn in your assignment, but I'd do a little bit at time and then take short breaks, then go back to working on it until you finish.

When I read, I try to make the characters in the book be famous actors or actresses. Then when I am reading, I play a little movie in my head of what is going on in the book.

Make incredibly boring reading material more interesting to me.
