  1. You seem to forget!! It was you frenchies that supplied the argies with their arms! Namely the Exocet missiles that sunk the very proud ship HMS Sheffield, My Father was on that ship and saw his shipmates die...... The Falklands are British and will always be... I find your question sickening, frogeater...

  2. No it is British soil as so are the residents of the island, the people are not related to Argentina in anyway.

Why don't you ask a Falkland Islander if they want to hand their island to Argentina & no longer be part of the United Kingdom.

  3. I think you'll find that almost everyone in Britain agrees that since the people who have lived on the islands for generations wish to remain British subjects, they should have the right to do so. If they changed their minds and voted to join Argentina, Britain would let them go. But when Argentina bullies and threatens them, it simply stiffens their resolve. It may seem odd for two islands so far from Britain to remain dependencies, but geography is less important than people. There is no minority Argentine population on the island who are being oppressed. The people living there should not have to live under a government which doesn't even speak their language, nor should they move.

  4. They are British and will remain so, especially after the loss of more than 250 servicemen to liberate them. The fact that the inhabitants are British and wish to remain so must be a major factor in deciding the future of the islands.

  5. You are talking about something that you know nothing about..... The Islands are British and have been since 1771 but Argentina made a claim for it in 1829. If its geopolitics that make you think that they should be returned then most island around the world would change hands due to break ups of many empires... including the French.... So to end it all... your talking rubbish.

Just for your info the Falkland Islands have had a complex history since their discovery, first with France, Britain, Spain, and Argentina claiming possession when they gain Independence from Spain just because they were near them. The only reason they invaded was because the failing government was trying to do something big internationally... but failed..

And another thing.... if you cant take criticism on here then you are on the wrong site.

  6. I think the Argentinians shot themselves in the foot when they invaded.

If there had been ongoing negotiations, by now i think we'd have moved as far as joint ownership but by invading as they did and causing the death of 250 UK troops, they now have absolutely NO CHANCE of having any claim to the Falklands.

They tried to force us out and seriously got their back sides kicked, they only have themselves to blame, they threw away any claim by invading.

Each of those 250 deaths is a nail in the coffin to any negotiations with Argentina over that rock, and i agree with the above, it is ulimately the choice of the people who live there and they want to remain British!

  7. If the people of the Falklands wish to become Argentinian then the islands should be handed over. I don't believe they do. Argentinian history does record a different version of the Falklands war then the British version.

  8. Not a chance - Falklands are BRITISH and WILL STAY THAT WAY.

Worry about your own politics before involving yourself in ours

DENDURE - if you require knowledge - look up the history of the Falklands on the internet - there will never be world peace until religion is scrapped and politicians are removed from the planet - the two biggest causes of war known.

This is not aggressive - it is fact - Britain will never relinquish the Falkland Islands -
