For snowboarding, is Colorado still plenty with nice snow around mid-April?

There is good snow all over Colorado in April. Most places don't close until May and some even later.

it will be ok cond but the only two places that will be open are loveland and A basin

yes sir! theres snow for a loooong time around there. even in to summer theres snow!

you can hike A basin all the way till late August... so ya, there's gonna be snow
