  1. is that only in Piczo? i don't think so. All addresses turns into an http://(blah) when you type it. Try. But why does your browser say that it couldn't be found? Maybe you have wrong spelling. The correct one was http://   .....   with a :

  2. Instead of http://(blah), it should be possible to just type (blah).  Here's the reason:

http is one way computers talk to each other over the internet.  It stands for Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol.  http:// goes in front of all web addresses in the location bar, meaning that you are using the Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol.  (If you're communicating with a website another way, such at ftp (File Transfer Protocol) it would appear as ftp://(blah))

All computers are identified by a number called an IP address, like 127.0.0.1  Since remembering these is difficult, they get names too, like www.yahoo.com.  Each "." signifies another level of specificity, and a different computer keeping track of the names.  So one computer keeps track of .coms, another of .edus, another of .orgs etc.  Then you go to the next level yahoo.com.  At this point you are at yahoo.  But there are different things on yahoo computers.  If you go to www.yahoo.com, you get the Yahoo! Homepage.  If you go to answers.yahoo.com, you get Yahoo! Answers.  They are different areas on the Yahoo! server (actually, Yahoo! probably has these on different servers, but they could theoretically be on the same one).

So, on your site, there is no www area, so your sites name is as specific as it gets.  www.(blah).com is a different web site than (blah).com.  Does that help?
