he thinks that I can get hair lice. What you think? DO fabrics transfer more germs than other public places? Anyone with any info let me know. Please!

  1. LOL everything has germs.... especially in public

  2. ANY porous material, one that will absorb liquids, can harbor germs and bugs. In that respect, there is some level of concern which is justified. Head lice is unlikely, but body lice (commonly called "crabs") could be a good bet. At one point, a friend of mine was single, living with me as a roommate, was not in a relationship and after about 6 months of NO physical contact with another human being (other than us living in the same house. No, neither of us are g*y! And the only thing shared were the common areas like the living room and kitchen.), got body lice! He tracked down the source to the bus he rode every day to and from work which had fabric covered seats. Several other regular riders on the bus caught the bugs as well. The bus company informed all of the riders that lice had been found on the bus and all riders should take precautions. It was a chore and a half to clean all of the clothing, bedding and furniture in the house we were renting at the time so _I_ would not catch the nasty little buggers!

  3. germs are so icky!!!
