action replay won't work with my sister's animal crossing wild world

what could be causing this?

I would not go for action replays... they can ruin the game. Some action replays are just junk. I bought mine full of cheats and the next day they disappeared and my game was ruined. But if you still want to use it, check to see if it works on other games, or on other DS's.
