epoxy is cheaper, can float better, and is very hard so it cant really brake or get bumps on it. so epoxy is way better

Wrong question.  Epoxy boards still use fiberglass.  What they don't use is polyester resin.  Typically though when you here of "epoxy boards" you are dealing with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) board with epoxy and fiberglass finish.  This is because polyester resin dissolves EPS.  EPS/epoxy tends to be lighter than traditional board building techniques but has a different flex to it.  It all comes down to personal preference.

As for the longer version of the answer, Surfammo said it all. As far as what I think.... I am a fiber glass fan. But, I am a bit of a dinosaur at 56 after 42 years of fiber glass, old habits (and preferences) are hard to change.

while epoxy is cheaper and stronger it's still breakable also it's a lot harder to turn on because it's rails aren't as sharp. If you're just learning it's better because you're not going to be doing a lot of sharp turns but if you're more advanced and want to have more fun fiberglass is differently better.

It's a matter of opinion. Fiberglass boards are heavier, but more sensitive. You can feel the response. Epoxy boards are lighter and more buoyant and may feel a bit awkward to the surfer. Not all epoxy boards are machine made. Some builders still make them by hand. Epoxy is stronger, but not indestructible. My opinion: hand made fiberglass.
