For the Americans? What do you think to British Documentaries?

Do you often get BBC Documentaries show on your television network's like plant earth and the likes? What do you think of them? Are they better then americans ones?

Often documentaries have a different narrator ( often with an American accent like a known actor) when broadcast in the US.  For example BBCs Planet Earth series is narrated by David Attenborough but the same series in the US is narrated by Sigourney Weaver. To me it seems radically different, the whole feel of the documentary seems very different.
