Greece-Ksylina Spathia.

I assume nobody has heard of them on Y!A.Their name translates into "Wooden Swords",and they play a kind of Black Sabbath-influenced rock music(greek rock has a signature sound they helped to create)-I think they've disbanded though.

They're quite good and popular here amongst rock fans(they have a cult following),but nowhere near my favorite bands in general though.

Romania-Phoenix or, as they are known in other countries such as England or Germany, Trannsylvania Phoenix. One of the oldest bands in the world, founded in 1962, they actually invented the genre of ethnic rock. If you enjoy folk or ethnic rock, or even folk metal you definitely HAVE to check them out you will not be disappointed. The lead guitarist, in particular, is incredibly skilled and his solos are awesome!!!

From Australia..Beasts Of Bourbon,The Cruel Sea or This Is Serious Mum(TISM)...Tough call..The Cruel Sea supported the Stones and got an encore...The Beasts of Bourbon..an awesome force of sound and fury scared the living **** out of PIL..should have seen the look of John Lydon's face..after 3 encores..they sure took their time taking the stage. OZ audiences have always let you know if you're just going through the motions.(PIL were good though.)

theres this alternative rock band called Black in bangladesh. they are quite good. they experiment a lot. i really like the guitarist. theyre my fave band from my country. and just as an extra info my all round fave band is alice in chains who are from my adopted country.

Well, if I were from the UK, you'd get my real favorite band. But since I'm from the U.S., you knocked me down a few on the list. Now I have to skip Radiohead, Joy Division, and Pink Floyd, and settle with The Smashing Pumpkins.
