For the DMV Drive Test when I do the back up in straight line thing will i need to use my hazard lights?

My 2 friends who took the test (both from different cities) passed the behind the wheel DMV test and did the straight backing with no hazard lights... but my driving teacher said i needed to use the hazard lights or i would fail... if i use them will i look stupid? or is it the right thing to do... my teacher said it was illegal to reverse on a street or something along those lines... help me out my test is tomorrow

  1. I have never heard of having to turn your hazards on to back up or parallel park for that matter!

    But if your teacher said they would fail you if you don't use them then I would do what the teacher says to do.
