  1. I used to live in Kildare. Now I live in Longford on the weekends and Dublin weekdays. I prefer the built up-ness of Kildare and Dublin but thats a personal choice. I liked being within minutes of shops and having the access of cheap public transport.

Each county has its own character and so I dont think you can go wrong picking any county in Ireland. Its easy to find one to match your personality.

  2. better than anywhere elce

  3. I'm from Wexford, but live in Dublin. I love it here - there's always something to do, and the infrastructure is much better than back in Wexford. It's very expensive to live here, and the weather can be miserable and depressing, but it's home to me and I can't imagine living anywhere else.

By the way - I saw your other question about the best place to live in Ireland - you'll get a load of biased answers depending on where the respondents are from. Each place has its good and bad points, and it really depends on if you want to live in a city or in the countryside.

  4. Craggy island, my ancesters came from Youghaul near Cork

  5. I live in County Galway and I love it ! ;)

  6. I live in County Limerick, which is really nice and the people are quite friendly. The city of Limerick has a bad and largely undeserved reputation, it's actually got a thriving arts community that not too many people outside of Limerick are aware of.

  7. up north on the border!

its brilliant to live here, u get shot, battered at night clubs, drinks spiked and all that kinda stuff.

    great!

    please come visit soon.

  8. I live in dublin and dont like it. Too expensive, too crowded, too many rude people, and its losing its charm. I plan on moving to the country, maybe south.

  9. i live in Co country about 40 minutes from the city.

    yes life is great here

  10. i live in Athlone!!!

    it's deadly!!!!!!!!!!!!!(great)

    everyone is sound

    its not very-citylike

    and its not countrylands!!!!

and everywhere else's accent converges so we all speak deadly!!!!

and our name in Irish is literally 'The Crossing Point of The Moon'!!!!

    HIPPIE NAMES ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I live in Lucan Co Dublin. It's nice enough, I can get a bus or train into Dublin city for €1.90, and the road to the west is just down the road.

But the traffic is just crazy, in Dublin, don't know if it's as bad in the rest of the country, but I like where I live as I am close to my family and a bus journey away from the best nightlife in the world...

  12. I live in Limerick.

Yeah its gets bad publicity all the time but its really a good county with decent people and some funny characters.

    I like it.

  13. I live in the country outside the town of carrick on suir, i love it because you go out at the weekend and everyone knows each other so uve plenty people to talk to. Also its on the border of 4 counties half an hour in each direction will bring you to Clonmel, Waterford or Kilkenny so plenty choices for jobs!!
