Anything but Polo, by Lauren...it seems that most of the time I have smelled that scent, it has been poured on, rather than lightly applied...

Believe it or not, one of the best fragrances I have smelled in men's cologne is good old Old Spice...

It'll save you a bundle, too, as it is inexpensive.

One thing I suggest you do is get some sample cards at the department store...and try ONE at a time...a scent often changes once it interacts with your body heat...so it is best to go slowly when choosing a fragrance...

A word of caution--get a scent that YOU like...a former flame of mine loved the way White Shoulders smelled and he always bought it for me--and I hated it...to this day, when I smell White Shoulders it gives me a headache...and has me sending thanks to Heaven I didn't stay with that gentleman and his icky fragrance!  <G>
