For the Mothers and Fathers of teenage girls/boys: Help please!!?

ok so im a 15 year old girl and i cannot figure out my mom. So recently on friday I went to a local indoor ice skating rink with a group of my girlfriends and met 2 boys that are both 14. They go to my school but i just havent really talked to them before. So anyways everyday since friday all 3 of us have been hanging out. Well my mom is very overprotective so on satuday we met up at the library and then walked to burger king just down the street. My mom had said before I left that I had to be home by 4. So at 4, i called her and asked if i could stay until 5 and she said no. and I asked her why not becasue i didnt see the reason and she said "Because I said so and I'm your parent. YOU'RE ONLY 15!!" So when i got home, I started crying because she makes me feel like im a bad kid or something and i asked her why and she said because I get worried about you too much. and then the next day she wouldn't let me hang out at all because she said that "you partied yesterday and maybe if

Right now, your mom seems like the meanest, most vacillating person you know. Remember, she was 15 once, & her mom probably treated her much the same way.

Curfews are set for a reason, & you've missed 2 in just a few days. So, why not just chill for a while, & prove to your mom you ARE responsible.

Maybe your mom has heard about something going on in your neighborhood, & that has her worried.
