For the Musicians in the room, a Question..?

If you play guitar this bad boy is for you!

Which do you prefer while jammin or layin down the beats?

I am a little old school so i tend to go for the older vintage amps, with that nice fuzzy warm sound.

The question is, what do you prefer, vintage, or the updated electronics that can replicate it or do even more?

Word of the day:

"Whats a rim job"

  1. I like em both really.  My amps are all newer, one is a Carvin tube amp (which sounds vintage) and a VOX Valvetronix (which can replicate just about any sound..new or vintage).  I would love to get an old vintage Marshall stack though.  I love all the pedals and gadgets that are on the market today also...I have lots of really fun pedals.

  2. i go for the older amps as they

    1. cost less

    2. more reliable

    3. you get a really nice sound with little distortion

  3. Since I started with the tubed Marshalls, thats my preference, but I really like the technology of today's pedals and effects

  4. I'm a drummer by trade.  I can appreciate the sound of a seasoned amp with the fuzzy sound!  So my answer is I prefer a more vintage sound then updated.

    LOL you said rim job!
