If you could choose, would you have,

1. the usual seasons as they are now- cool spring, warmish summer, cool autumn and cold winter. Rain at anytime?

2. temperate all the year round- e.g 15- 18 degrees all the time, never red hot, never very cold and no snow and ice, and maybe light rain every so often?

3. seasons with extremes- very hot summer, very cold winter with snow and ice, rainy spring and autumn?

  1. no 3  seasons with extremes....<^><.....

  2. lol, warmish summer as we have now?! Where's that been then? I'm in Scotland, we seem to get one main season through the whole year.  Rain with cloud.

    I'd choose four distinct seasons:

    1. Warm, sunny summer

    2. Cooling autumn

    3. Cold winter, snow every year etc

    4. Cool Spring warming to summer.

  3. UK weather already IS substantially the same (changeable with no extremes) all year round! You must not get out much!

I got so tired of it I live in the US now, in a State that has four very distinct seasons; Spring is like England (only sunnier), Summer is hot & humid, Fall is a panoply of autumnal hues, and Winter is 3 feet of packed snow and excellent snowboarding!

There was a saying where I grew up in England; "If you don't like the weather, don't complain, just wait a minute!"

  4. dat 1st one and 4 rain to be in the winter coz dat wen it ment 2 be cold

  5. Could I have those three options rotating on a three year basis?

I like unpredictable weather! But I just wish it would be a bit more sunny in summer like it was a couple of years back, and a little less windy in winter, but thats all really.

  6. The usual seasons as they are now. Thats what makes our country great to live in.
