  1. I wouldn't think so. I would find it hard to do any dancing at all without the push-pull tension. Then again I do social dancing, where steps are not choreographed in advance.

  5. Theoretically, yes. In practice, no. In order to look good it requires a lead. It's also a lot easier to get it in unison if you have a connection.

  6. It would look pretty silly. Keep in mind that the best choreography doesn't look like it's choreographed, or at least looks as if it might be danced spontaneously in a social situation.
