what is the diff on the days you use clomid...which days would have a better chance.... and what days and mg did u conceive???

There is no one answer to when it should be taken- it depends on a lot of things- hormone levels, luteal phase length, thickness of lining. You should always follow your doctors instructions, because they have chosen those days based on what they think will give you the best outcome.

Clomid delays ovulation. My RE nurse told me this week that when they give Clomid they expect ovulation to be delayed by around 4 days. So that would mean you also have to expect your period 4 days later than normal and also should test 4 days later too. So you should BD 4 days later than your normal fertile window. Use OPKs to confirm this.

I have taken 3 rounds of clomid.  

1 - 50mg CD5-9 No ovulation, Progesterone level of 1 at CD21

2 - 100mg CD3-7 Ovulated Day 13ish, Prog Level at 46 CD23

3 - 100mg CD3-7 Ovulated Day 15ish, Progesterone level 14 at CD22

They say that taking it 5-9 creates more mature follicles and CD3-7 creates more follicles.  It is just usually the preference of the doctor.  I cannot really say which one was better for me.  I am just waiting to be pregant!  I am on CD34 now, just had an HCG level taken on Wednesday.  So waiting for good news!!!

I recommend using OPK's whild on clomid as well as tracking your BBT.  It helps alot!
