i am asking about their talent and skill level compared to your team. and the rules you played under. when our team played in montana. they let us play a 12 man offence but only a 11 man defence, so they let us run an offence we were comfortable with.

Though we still played 4 downs on an american field.

  1. That must have been interesting and a lot of fun.

No mention of how you did.

I have played in both countries, games are a lot different.

  2. When I was in high school, we never played against kids from the States.  I don't think it's a common occurrence.

I gotta ask though, how did your team do?

  3. The NFl and the CFl had exhibition games back in the 60s but they stopped once the CFL started winning the games.  You think that was a coincidence?  Okay why is the NFL more exciting now than it has been for years?  Because they are throwing the ball more.  Something again we've known in Canada for a long time.  Passing makes the games exciting.  You run the ball to keep the defense honest.
