I'm currently upgrading my home theatre slowly, and my receiver is next, i'm debating between these, so in your opinion or knowledge which of these would you recommend...and i don't mind the price differences in these so price is not an issue between these receivers...

I'm currently running a ps3 as blu ray player, but will like i said upgrade when a decent stand alone becomes available...

I want to run my blu ray movies so i which one would get the biggest bang for the buck....thanks for any input on this...

  1. i dont know your sound preference but the denon reciever is an all around bettr radio

  2. All nice receivers, but in my opinion the Denon is the best of the bunch. That said .. no criticism intended .. but Bose speakers are like putting bottom of the line tires on a Porsche.

If it were my system I'd upgrade the speakers before the receiver. And if you are waiting for a good stand alone BD player, wait for one with built in lossless decoders and don't worry about them in a receiver.
