i have never once regreted marrying my husband. he is the best thing to happen to me. he can be annoying at times, as i'm sure i am to him, but regret...no.

Yes I definitely regret getting married.  I don't want to lay the blame for our break-up entirely with my (estranged) husband but in all honesty he wasn't mature enough to get married and I just wish that I had realised that sooner.  When I look back at how he was in the months before we got married I can't believe how stupid I was to believe that marriage would suddenly make him grow up and act differently.  I have genuinely tried to make my marriage work but I have now realised that he's never going to change.

I have no idea, but Im in a relationship that Im regretting, because I got attached and he gets meaner and meaner to me everyday. People change and they certainly don't stay the same, so you live in this fairy world thinking they will be their old self again, and guess what, they aren't so it leads to divorce.

Regretted every bit of it. Out of it now. Also, spouse was horrible in bed too. s*x was horrible. Worst s*x one can have.

yes, I thought it was what I wanted, a father for my daughter and someone to take care of me. Now I just want to be left alone. I want to get in the car and drive where ever without having to tell someone where I am going or ask permission. I want to do things and go places I have never been to and I want to do it by myself. Now I am trapped and my life is all about US. There is no longer a "ME". I want ME time and it no longer exists. Maybe it is just my marriage. Who knows??

YES----------------------reason. after 14yrs then 15yrs of suffering a cheating wife and raising another mans kid only for the ***** to cheat again. Now its there for the rest of my life whether i walk or not.

i have been married for five years, we have been together for six. no i do not regret getting married. we have had our fights, everyone does, but we both love each other and we work things out.

Yes we married far too soon and i think it was an awful mistake. I did enjoys parts of the relationship. We were totally incompatible apart from the bedroom!.

I don't regret being married, I'm married 8 yrs, been together for about 13 years total, I regret what we have become.  I stay at home w/my 2 children who are the world to me and my husband travels about 7-14 days each month.  My gut tells me has cheated on more than one occasion.  Ultimately, you have to make yourself happy.  You cannot depend on someone else to do it for you!

I married my high school sweetheart!! I had a rough high school life and he was the only stable thing I had. I thought I loved him and everything was perfect. We got married after being with each other for 8 years. After 3 years of being married I started to notice our life was all about him and his family. If there was anything I wanted to do I had to hear griping or I had to do it alone. Don't get me wrong when it came to him doing stuff around the house or spending time with me he did great . But he would not let me be an individual or find myself for sure. He would not let me go out with friend and enjoy girl time. I put him up on this thrown and treated him like a king. Cooked him dinner and made sure the house was always clean even with working two jobs. Well as of today Im divorced. I woke up and realized there is a better life out there and we were not compatible at all. I kept alot of hurt feelings in that he would do to me and that was half the problem. Im happier now and gosh Im so happy to have my last name back. LOL

I really don't understand on my marriage life, i don't  have any future and happiness on my life hes self centered . I felt im alone and empty nothing to share w/ nothing at all,. I really want to get out of this situation and move on and start a new life i hope i could find someone has a generous heart and being a family guy.
