I meant to also ask you which paranormal thing(s) you do believe in.

  1. That people seeking TRUTH turn a blind eye to the paranormal...where TRUTH resides.

  2. In the minds eye.

  3. Actual blood sucking vampires.  Only because that is the only thing I have yet to see.  Well, I can't say I've actually seen a real werewolf either.

  4. I don't believe "in" things..but I believe "about" some things. Just because I don't understand some paranormal things..well..MOST of them...or because I've never seen them or don't have interest in them....doesn't mean they don't exist.  I've been kind of on the fence about UFOs...but that 2001 UFO Disclosure kind of knocked me OFF the fence. I believe about them more now than I did before I saw that video.

Fairies don't really interest me.Neither does Bigfoot or all those others like Bigfoot..Lochness monster etc.Doesn't mean I say they're not in existence . Telekinesis  doesn't interest me. Magic tricks don't interest me. Hmmmm.. I know that you can call up spirits..but I'm against it. I believe Ghost Hunting is only good if you can help the spirits or the people they're bothering. I don't see how you can separate religion from the paranormal. I think supernatural is about the same as paranormal.I'm not sure still what the differences are in spiritualism and spiritism. I think people who are psychics should have another job so they can do it for free."What you recieve as a gift..give as a gift."(Just because something is in the Bible..I don't discredit it. I don't "throw away" everything that Jesus did..just because some people don't like his name) I believe in discernment of anything spiritual..or that you think might be spiritual. I believe in going to the dr. (except psychiatrists who denounce the paranormal.) I believe that some people in churches are into some paranormal things that they are calling the works of the Holy Spirit that aren't works of the Holy Spirit. I believe that no one really knows who they are "communing" with...Even if they saw them..they could be disguising themselves. Even some healings , I think, could be trickery..or to get you to follow that person or spirit..which might not be of God. I believe in God...the Father , the Son, and the Holy Spirit...and I believe in Mary (Jesus' mother) and Joseph and many people in the writings (that they put together and named the Bible) I believe most people in the paranormal search are looking for God..or proof of him..and his love for that individual person.

This is so long..no one will read it. And, I'm not finished. But..you can tell what I believe "about" by the answers I give on here. Mostly , I'm just trying to "figure it out"!

EDIT..O..as for reincarnation..I'm pretty sure it's spirits in the people or talking to them..not that person's previous life. I'm still open on what I believe about it.

I KNOW that there are ghosts or spirits or demons or whatever they are. I KNOW SOMETHING is out there. I do believe there is another dimension.I believe some people can see parts of it and others can't. I don't know why. I'm TOTALLY against psychiatrists putting people in mental institutions and drugging them because paranormal things are happening to them, but the psychiatrists are skeptics. To me, it's like doing that to someone because you don't believe in their religion. I'm fascinated by the paranormal stories people tell of things that have happened to them. I believe some of them..some I don't..some I'm not sure about..but I believe most of the people are sincere and want the true explanation..whether it's scientific or paranormal.I believe a lot of scientists are narrow minded...the same as psychiatrists. I believe that it's foolish to be narrow minded..and it's dangerous. I believe that people have a soul/spirit..not just a personality. I believe about possession and have experienced it.Not all possessions are dramatic and demonic...many are just spirits using your body and mind. That's why we're told to "guard" our minds.OK..that's all for now. lol PS..I shudder to think that atheists take pride in being atheists..and I think it's absurd that anyone is an atheist.  All they have to do is look at their own body and realize that  it could only have been put together that way because of an EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT  BEING...FAR superior to any of us.

EDIT..."Now & Then"..LOL LOL...I thought you were talking about boy/girl "dating". Guess I don't have a geological mind.  Well, I DO believe in things like that. And I believe in the moon landings. WE just say "no evidence" because that's what the skeptics always say about the paranormal. Actually , I have a lot more evidence & proof about the paranormal than about the moon landings. That doesn't mean I don't  believe in them.

  5. I believe that for some, Science holds the excitement  that others seek in pseudo-science and pop-science.

I am afraid that the same people who believe in the (shall we term it ) 'para-sciences' also believe in conspiracy theories.

I think that the psychology entails a certain insecurity, where these adherents were people that were intimidated by real science, math and logical reasoning in their adolescence.

They want to feel like they have a personalized, self-supporting system to alleviate their insecurities.

Perhaps I am incorrect. Only Science offers this---the admission that what it states might be wrong!

  6. I do not believe that aliens abduct people with the specific objective of putting probes in their bums.

    The reason?  Sounds too..... British?

  7. I consider your question to be absurd....Homoeopathy is natural medicine, based on a science of 'like cures like'....Astrology uses the science of Astronomy. Fairies and Werewolves fall under Mythology....Ghosts is the only thing which is classified as Paranormal Phenomena.

As for the other things you have stated - half of 'em are classified under Parapsychology (PK /Levitation) and the other half is Science Fiction (Alien abduction).

*You obviously don't know much about these things so why even ask a ridiculous question such as this?

  8. I've come across evidence of psycho-kinesis, levitation, homeopathy, aliens, ghosts, fairies, past lives, spiritualism, astrology and the benefits of transcendental meditation, and that's just from your list.

Shakespeare said "There are more things in heaven and Earth (Horatio) than are dreamt of in your philosophy".  It's good to keep an open mind.

I do not believe there are currently on this planet beings like werewolves and vampires because I haven't come across any evidence that they currently exist on this planet.  Bram Stoker who wrote Dracula was a member of the Order of the Golden Dawn so he would have known about psychic vampirism.  Some of these legends could be allegorical.

  9. I don't believe this life is all there is. I don't believe in alien abductions, either, but I do believe there's intelligent life out there somewhere.   I do believe in ghosts; I'm a ghost hunter and have been seeing ghosts all my life.  Werewolves - um...no.  Fairies I consider part of mythology, having never met one, although both my grannies from Ireland always spoke of the fairies.  Homeopathy actually works but I wouldn't class it as paranormal.  I believe in spiritualism and mediums, having met a few who showed me they were the real deal.  I find astrology interesting and read my horoscope for entertainment, not guidance.  TM is very helpful, but again, not paranormal.  PK & levitation I'm not sure of, having never seen anyone levitate or move things without touching it, but I don't disbelieve it, either.

  10. I never though that homeopathy was paranormal?

Is this not the usage of natural  resources in treatment of diseases?

I think it is possible to have homeopathic treatments but I have not experienced it myself. Actually, I take that back. I do have a headache medicine which is based on homeopathic treatment and it is made from peppermint oil. It has been one of the products that truely worked on me despite the failure of oral medications. I must admit I was skeptical at first that it would give me any relief and amazed that it did, but it does not always work.

It only works if I have a specific type of pain.

  11. I ok with most but not aliens, PK, levitation. Doubtful about werewolves/shape shifters, Astrology.

I have never seen them and/ or  science just says no way.

  12. We are approaching the end of the ages.  So any and every creature, being, spirit is being released and we will see things that have never been viewed on earth before.  It is a part of hidden mysteries. The bible speaks of horrible creatures and some are to be viewed exactly as written.  It also speaks of celestrial beings and terrestrial beings in the new testament.  So If God created these things they will come into being for their season....

  13. anything that can be dreamt up could be real but with the church wanting to avoid issues with demons and hauntings and possession's it gets a bit hard to change your belief and just wonder if it is some cruel joke... answers that seem to have always existed but no answer to be found like..."are we the earthlings alone in this universe" or any other?  Though I tend to believe in mostly what I can see and the rest that I can at least determine are not normal or of this world is all that is left to be said... though I also do think that hauntings can be scientifically explained and still be paranormal at the same time... the electricity that flows through us...through our nerves, does not stop living just the body that is hosting it dies...

  14. With some of their beliefs, I'm curious about why there is ANYTHING they don't believe in.

I find it amazing that a huge portion of the ones that believe in some of the more absurd things absolutely refuse to believe easily comprehended, well understood, and well documented things like moon landings and radiometric dating.

  15. I consider the belief that all things that science does not have an acceptable explanation for must be the result of fraud or delusion to be an absurd belief.

There is evidence for PK (link below)

Levitation has been demonstrated by science (link below). Homeopathy could be explained by the well established Placebo effect. There are some studies to suggest that it outperforms the Placebo effect (link below).

I believe people see something they name Bigfoot due to other reports of sightings in the area. This could be a misidentified bear or some undiscovered and or mutated species.

People sincerely experience alien abduction experiences (aliens or not) and sleep paralysis fails to explain all cases. If aliens are involved is an open question to me.

People have reported seeing ghosts since the beginning of recorded history so this is a real experience. If people survive death is perhaps the biggest question of mankind. Ghost sightings I  believe have numerous explanations from the skeptical (sleep hallucinations) to the extraordinary (ESP impressions) if a surviving personality is involved is again an open question.

I have never undertaken a serious investigation of the literature or research into the existence of fairies so I remain neutral (like all good scientist) on the subject.

Werewolves have a basis in fact with a rare medical condition that causes people to have unusual hair growth and the moon has been shown to have a correlation with behavior (in some studies) in particular with mental patients that are confined in doors. In that sense I belief in were wolves.

Past lives have some evidence but this evidence could also be associated with ESP and access to information about another persons life. The work of Dr. Stevenson is the best so far on this issue. He after years of research came to believe in reincarnation but admitted his evidence was not conclusive (link below)

Spiritualism is a religion and not one that I follow so in this sense I don't believe in it. In the sense that it exist as a religion I believe in it.

Not having investigated astrology I have no informed opinion to offer.

TM or Transcendental Meditation is a form of meditation and it certainly exist as a technique of meditation. Some research has shown that meditation is helpful for stress, high blood pressure, and other physical symptoms (not unlike bio feedback). Last link below.

  16. i've done astral projection, had past life regression, been to channeling sessions, believe in ESP, seen what i believe to have been a UFO, and probably a few other things make sense to me

i find i cannot believe in virgin births!

  17. Atheism, I find that absurd. Atheism is an entire class of paranormal, I dont believe exists. To think people actually believe in nothingness is just unreal to me. Since they believe they are nothing but an electrical charge and some minerals, well whats the use of even living. Do they even believe they have an electrical charge? Anyways, if thats the case, why even bother. I mean, I have never had one Atheist show me one shred of proof their belief in no spirit or creator is true, yet they go on and on about their beliefs like the rest of us should just follow them blindly. Those Atheists, go figure, next they will think they are better educated and wiser than the rest of us.Yep, Atheism, thats my paranormal non-belief.

  18. i mainly believe in what ive seen, its a bit hard not to,...as in spirits and apparitions...they didnt appear in dreams,  they have appeared while wide awake, and most of the time there was a second person with me, who also saw what i saw, so how can you not believe in that, and im not talking about shadows out of the corner of my eye, which ive also seen  but i dont worry about that, but when something fully appears in front of you in full colour and moves through your house and with the second person also watching it...and no we werent on drugs, i was only 8 years old when the first one happened, and with my nan also watching it..and it stayed the whole night.....

other things like big foot and monsters and fairies etc i dont give them much thought, not any actually, but i do think that this earth has been here for billions of years, that such creatures may of been here once upon a time, who really knows, no one....ufo,s maybe but once again i dont give them much thought, ive never seen one so its hard to say, im only going by what others have said or seen...

One thing i dont understand here is, people say there are no such things as ghosts, spirits, paranormal, supernatural....but then they talk about the bible, and god and jesus and satan....how can they exist even jesus when he died thousands of years ago, hes dead no longer around, so if spirits dont exist then how do these exist, even satan, (demons)...i think they are contradicting themselves... ive never really read the bible, but i know there are supernatural writings in there, angels appearing, etc ....

everything ive seen and experienced is enough proof for me to know they exist, i dont care if science cannt prove it, personal experience is the best evidence ...as long you are not under the influence of anything, and get confused with halluncinations.... but having a second person there for most of the experiences made it alot better.. it eases your mind alot more

  19. I dont believe in fairies. I mean where did this belief in small creatures with wings originate from anyways? I guess its a girl thing.  Maybe females have the ability to see it.  In any circumstance these fairies will never exists and only in your dreams.
