  1. To live a life void of Spirit is a dead end, but everyone must walk the path.

  2. I believe in the importance of secularism as part of the American experience, because our great democratic experience has utilized secularism as a protection for and against religion.

  3. As an agnostic mystic, Secularism is absolutely vital in any state. However, I think Secularism must encompass the fact that explicit opposition to spirituality in any of its forms is also an opinion that cannot be allowed to be exercised by its government.

Real secularism is not anti-Religion. It's simply against allowing Religion, or opponents thereof, to dictate policy on the basis of Religious expansionism/elimination.

  4. Ok I am not part of the "religious crew" as you put it, but like Shadowmyu I believe that the state should be secular, certainly in Britain. We now live in a multicultural society with many faiths - secularism ensures that all faiths are treated equally. The French have separated religion from state affairs like education. I don't always agree with French policy but they are spot on here.

  5. No. (There is enough information in ones life to experience REALITY.) One just chooses to distort and pervert it. Ones 'intent' is prior to content. Revelation has been replaced by 'reason'. "They" need ligitamacy in an illigitamate way! They 'politicize' SIN. (The Truth has been subverted by Agnostism/Secularism).  They give too much 'power' to peer pressure. (They are changing the Name of the Allegience to God! )  1 Corinthians 2:14, and 2 Timothy 4:1-3. "Tolerence" has taken the place of CONVICTION!
