For the whole alcohol fixing a wet cell phone do you have to put it in the alcohol right away? ?

Take battery out of phone and leave in dry place for a few days.-you could try WD40. My phone went through the washing machine and i'd given it up for dead-i'd pulled it apart(to get my simcard) and it was actually weeks later that i gave it another chance before sending it to cellphone heaven. It worked-and that was about 8 months ago.

It doesnt work, i would just try to dry out the phone throughly

I never heard that worked but I went swimming with mine and I took everything apart. The battery, sims card, and everything apart and then I put it in my car. It steams it out, mine worked fine after that :)

My car was in the sun and I turned the heat up and layed on the dashboard and then rolled up the windows. After it got steaming hot I turned of the engine and left it their for a couple hours
