  1. it's "immoral" if you want to call it that when it degrades women and it often does.

why do "facial abuse"?  this is degrading.

why have ugly men? (i am told this is to increase men's self-esteem, again it ignores women's self-esteem).

drugs and violence should not be used.

derogatory names should not be used. the women give men what they want & then they are called hos or the titles use these foul words.

p**n should have been made with both men & women in mind. it got off to a horrible start and has never righted itself. how society permits it such freedom is behind me.

now, having said that, i do think p**n that is respectful and playful is a legitimate means of sexual stimulation - i have nothing against the concept of p**n itself, just how it's been made so far.

  2. I don't find it immoral, so long as certain conditions are met.

--Those who pose for or act in visual p**n (websites, interactive websites, videos, film, photos, etc.) are doing so voluntarily, with full knowledge of how the images are to be used

--The images are used only as originally promised

--Those who appear made their decision to do so unencumbered by drugs, alcohol, mental illness, pressure from others, etc.

    --Those who appear are adults

--Those who appear were paid in full

--The material does not cater or pander to those whose sexual interests I consider immoral (s*x with kids, the mentally incompetent or ill, and such)

--The material is sold to adults only

--The owners of the materials keep them out of the hands of minors

Geez, I could go on and on, but that's enough for the moment

  3. I don't believe so. p**n is a harmless way of exploring your sexual tastes, and most people are able to distinguish between pornographic s*x and the added emotion and responsibility of real life s*x.

As long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, I think any kind of p**n is ok. The UK is trying to ban violent pornography at the moment, which I strongly disagree with.

p**n can only start to affect people's lives negatively if it develops into an addiction... but I feel that the problem there lies with the individual to begin with, not with their erotic material.

In general, I have quite a positive view of the s*x industry.

  4. Morality is subjective.

Not everyone has the same moral standards.

  5. It is. It stops personal development in the natural. What are they doing? Is this the way it's done? They like it so it must be good isn't it? I want to try that.  But what about stop lookin g on the  other side of the fence and start learning about your own bodies naturally in your own space of development?

  6. no... things arnt imoral... ppl r... an wats imoral bout p**n r the slimeballs that by it an sell it an look at it...  they see women as nothing more than s*x objects...   there the creepy types that stare at women... an follow us in parking lots... an stalk us... an dont leave us in peace...  most of them become dangeros s*x ofenders an rapists...  the p**n jus encorages them an makes them think its ok to treat women like that....

  7. That would depend on the woman.  Women have differing opinions on issues.

  8. I can't speak for all women. Just like not all men have the same view on the subject.

I personally don't find most of it immoral. There is actually no real (causal) link between certain types of pornography and the related criminal sexual behavour, despite what was once believed. And most people viewing p**n are totally capable of distinguishing between fantasy - p**n - and reality. Although age limits are important (very young children do not distinguish between fantasy and reality well).

I do have a problem with how some p**n is made - p**n made by exploiting the actors or by using very vulnerable people as actors would be immoral, exactly the same p**n made by people who are well aware and want to be doing that job would not be.  Obviously child p**n is immoral, even if it doesn't cause peadophilia, because of how it's made. Hardcore p**n as well I would be generally suspicious of.

Otherwise, I personally don't think p**n is immoral. Especially soft core/moderate - as long as it's not hurting/exploiting anyone. It's not something I'm particularly interested in, but that's not a moral judgement.

  9. Depending on what it depicts pornography could be immoral or simply a form of art.  Snuff films, child pornography...come to mind as being immoral (and illegal).  That which depicts real s*x between consenting adults for the purpose of exploration of our sexuality is not immoral when used with discretion and in moderation (not to the point of addiction and obsession).

There are many forms of erotic art and film and done with taste it can be enjoyable and an aid to both an individual or a couple (or more) to more deeply experience their own sexuality.

  10. Whose going to define pornography?

  11. It is immoral because it causes someone to lust. It also sets the bar so high that reality cannot reach it....no one's plummer is that hot and ripped and getting to actually have s*x with them when they come "fix" your plumming is next to impossible. Not to mention the fact that it degrades not only the viewer and actors, but the camera man and water boy! If you need to watch p**n as a couple to get turned on, you have a problem. It is immoral in each and every way and it is highly addictive, but staying out of it in the first place will help with that.

  12. I personally don't think so, but a lot of my peers do. There are so many factors to take into account, though. Frankly Immorality is in the eye of the beholder.

For example, from a Christian standpoint, yes p**n is immoral, because it invokes the sin of lust and arguably adultery.

Many women are brought up to view s*x as the exclusive domain of men, (the "nice girls don't do that" mentality), and so their learned behaviour teaches them to view anything to do with s*x as unpleasant and/or immoral. Likewise, some men are brought up to view women as s*x objects which you could say is an immoral attitude. I can't remember where I read this but, an anecdote from Victorian times tells of a woman who was enjoying herself in bed with her husband to the point that he was shocked enough to say "Madam! Ladies never move!"

Also, there is the type of pornography itself. I'm of the mind that consenting adults should do whatever they like, but one can't deny that some women may be coerced into the industry. I would deem pornography created by exploiting vulnerable/underage people as immoral.

Many of my friends insist that most pornography degrades women. I think that most pornography actually celebrates them.

  13. I think that pornography is immoral for men AND women. It turns people into s*x objects. It gives an unrealistic portrayal of s*x. And it puts the actors and actresses at severe risk for STDs just so a few people can jerk off to it. It is also very addictive, and can cause trouble in relationships by setting up unrealistic expectations of what s*x should be like. And finally, it can make men and women feel bad about their bodies and their abilities to please their partners.

  14. For me it is. I don't see why you would want to look at a naked person, ew!

  15. no i watch p**n so does my husband. normalporn idnt immoral only if itinvolvees things such as children is it immoral

  16. No

    Just boring
