My brother is in bootcamp right now, and in his letter he said he'd been "IT'd" because he'd gone to the bathroom without permission (he really nad to go, lol). I'm just wondering what that means... thanks!!! And Semper Fi :)

  1. IT stands for Intensive Training. When a recruit does something that he isin't supposed too, the 3rd or 4th hat Drill Instructor  will pull him aside and make him do "Intensive Training" for a period of 90 seconds. I know 90 seconds doesn't seem like much when you read it, but for a recruit that is running back and forth while touching the ground, then doing side shoulder hops, push ups and all sorts of fun stuff while being yelled at, it seems like it goes on forever.

  2. intense training.  it's punishment by the drill instructor, when you mess up or make a mistake.  it's pretty much doing alot of push ups, jumping jacks, and exercises really fast, while getting yelled at.

  3. Intensive Training.
