For those in the air force, what did you get on the asvab?

For those in the air force, what did you get on the asvab?

Low 80s

In the high 90s, from what I remember.  

Most people score in the 80s, 90s, so it's not like its an impressive score.

I got a 92.

I guess I did okay, I never really paid attention to what anyone else got.

I do Satcom/Wideband for the AF and love it :)

* Not in the Air Force* ( I had 1 too many dependants & not so great credit)  But I got an 81, and they said it was high enough to start out in Lieutenants' School.

I scored an 82,

But i purposely answered some of the administrative questions wrong.

Since I wanted to make sure, i scored lower in the administrative area.

What you score on the asvab doesn't make any difference, as long as you score high enough to enlist.

It is what you score on the 9 sub test, that count.

Since those 9 sub test, are what is used to determine your AFSC.

IE: Making a perfect score on the Word Knowledge or Paragragh Comprehension,

Would help make your overall asvab score higher.

But it wouldn't help your electronics area score at all, since neither of those areas, are used in determining your electronics area score.
