I am trying to find out for sure if parts in a car are of better quality if they were made in japan as opposed to a plant in America. If you know the answer, can you tell me how you know this? I tried looking online, but most studies show that american plants manufacturing japanese parts are now at par with the quality of japanese since the mid 90's...is that right or are parts made in japan still better?

  1. depends on for what youre using it for for an import car and performance most likely yes, and american car will perform better with american parts

  2. yes, JDM parts of "import" parts are better

i think so, on my friends supra, i put some tenzos, i mean they have to be high brand name.

but, i consider them over american made parts.. because in japan they specifically make them for that market, and they are always going to be a higher quality

    hope that helps

  3. good Q

    here what i thing

if electronic parts yes make great stuff

but there metal part depend not so sure

make some brake for car cheep u get what u pay fore

most of the car to day got parts made in japan mexico ext

  4. It is not where they are made.

It is how they are designed.

Honda's made in America are just as good as the ones made in Japan. They are made the same way with the same materials.

But Japanese design of parts are better. They last longer and work better.
