  1. Nuthin free about it it is paid for saves a lot of people from financial disaster,Government  of Canada negotiates drug prices thats why so many Americans come here to stock up on Meds


  2. We pay in USA and still have to wait up to two hours to see a doctor, why the question ?

  3. First, I am not from a country with socialized medicine but I have many friends who are (from Canada).

    Yes, they have free healthcare, but sometimes it takes months to get basic healthcare and people sometimes have to wait up even years for surgery.  

    We pay out the nose for the convenience of 24/7 healthcare here, but Canadians also pay much higher taxes to subsidize their "free" healthcare.

  4. we have a kind of socialized medicine the pros and cons if the system is managed right and not overburden you will benefit for instance less waiting time, for an appointment  or to have a surgery carried out.

    when things are bad then it is a life and death situation, it is a lottery whether you get a bed.   people  sleeping in hospital corridors few doctors available in emergency a nightmare scenarios, your only chance is going to a private hospital then it will cost you an arm and a leg, if you have a long standing ailment then you are in big trouble with your skyrocketing premium

  5. Paid dental care up till 19 or there abouts and then pay yourself after. Pros and cons.
