For those of you that wear eyeglasses, do you feel helpless withouth them?

whats your prescription and what are the things you can't do without them?

My prescription is -9.50 in contacts and when I just wake up everythang is real blurry, but I don't squint or anythang because it doesn't help.

I can do anythang without them (except pass an eye test :), it's just a matter of me being able to see properly without them.

But I don't even wear glasses normally anyway because they're outdated by like 3 diopters and they're 4 years old.

No I don't feel helpless without them because in familiar surroundings I can get around and even in new places I can see okay without correction. I can see shapes and thangs that  are sort of far away and I can distinguish objects. It's not like I just see a blur of colors. That would suck!

I should wear my glasses all the time, but really only need them for driving.  I usually leave them off because I can't see the computer screen or do some of my work with them on.  I'm certainly not helpless without them.

I have to wear glasses all the time and do so.  I won't go out without them if I have to walk near or on roads but when I'm on the bus I will take them off to wear non-prescription sunglasses.

My long sight is fine but my short sight is horrible so what can't I do?  Uhm, I'm not overly sure for the fact I never really have them off but anything that includes seeing anything in the distance.

i don't feel helpless but it does feel weird, like somethings missing when i don't wear them.

I wear mine all the time,and although I do,I don't feel helpless without them.Like Roni,I don't feel like myself without them on,it's like a part of me is missing,you know?
