  1. The question seems loaded. Perhaps someone could believe human activities impact the climate, such as when the native americans would set forest fires in the Tahoe basin for hunting / agriculture, and have an opinion on acid rain. Perhaps? I think human activities can affect the environment. Are you asking whether it is possible for human activities to increase acid rain?

  2. There was no debate in the scientific community about the need for catalytic converters. There is still much debate about the predictability of climate given our limited understanding of natural phenomena. Can you say little ice age?

  3. Why the animosity towards conservatives and republicans?  And why ask the question?  You have already decided that republicans don't care about the environment and only care about big business.  I would suggest that both parties have their hands in some special interest group or lobby. This is suppose to be about global warming, the one thing I have observed is the political infusion in a so called scientific debate, if your trying  persuade people to be concerned about the planet we live on  you may want to try a different approach.

  4. Man you just don't get it.  No one is for polluting weather it be chemicals that dissolve to acid during rain, or co2 in the air.

It's possible to want to reduce co2 without believing the dogma of so-called "global warming".

Man made global warming is a hoax.  You have no idea if it will be warmer or colder in the future.

[Edit] Thank God I'm an independent.  Sorry, Big business is making plenty off of going green.  It's profitable to do both.  Look at sources of pollution and it's always the gvmt.

If you "know" it will be warmer in the future, please show your work on how you came to your conclusion.  I would like to see your data.  However I doubt you have anything more than a guess.  You have as much chance of being right as a flip of a coin.

  5. DR. JELLO is much smarter to you. Acid Rain and global warming are two totally different things????

  6. Acid rain isn't climate. Where are you going with this?

"And yes, we know it will be warmer in the future. Hence the name 'Global Warming.' Get it?"

This is erroneous--we do not know that it will get warmer in the future. That is why climate sensitivity projections are called hypotheses, not facts.
