  1. I have a 20' bar mounted at the top of the wall that I clip the backdrops to with spring clamps.  My guestroom closet, and dresser, are full of props & accs.  The backdrops get folded up and stored in vintage suitcases that I leave out as a design statement.

  2. the lights and umbrellas stay in a box in my art studio or under the kitchen table (depending on how much shooting we are doing), the cameras are in wife's studio mostly but the main digital is kept by the kitchen table so i (or she) can grab and go after breakfast.  i have a large black square of felt i can hang on the kitchen wall and shoot from the dining room with lights pointing in. or on the dining room wall with the lights pointing out. (just depends on what is easier to clear away for the shoot.

we are currently "discussing" using part of the basement and leaving something a bit more permanent for our art shots but cannot seem to agree that the bedroom down there is a total useless space as a bedroom.

  3. I don't have a lot of equipment, just my point&shoot camera, tripod and desk lamp so I usually just leave it out.  When I do my little "shoots" I usually set up on the table in the kitchen.  The stuff I do indoors is usually things that I just have lying around the apartment so when I'm done with it I just put it back where I got it from.  Live by myself so not exactly worried about the clutter that builds up because it did that before too.  Not sure if that answers your questions but hope it helps
