How do you think he'll perform against USA? Also, if he performs well, what are the chances that the NBA scouts start giving him the respect that he really deserves? A TOP pick! He's 17!

  1. he's gonna get intimidated and suck lol.

but i've seen some videos of this dude..and he MIGHT have a good game since Kobe wants to guard him. and kobe has been sucking lately

  2. dude he is getting the respect he deserves..... check out draft express.... they are falling all over this guy.... most other experts are afraid to say he is the best because the last two guys out of europe that were top picks havent turned out so good (darko, bargnani).... he is a good player obviously and some scouts are already givin him props.

  3. Sure he's a good player and can make some fancy passes at seventeen, but let's be realistic. He's going to be going up against the here and now best in the NBA. I laugh at the very though of Rubio's skinny as$ trying to "defend" a guy like Deron Williams, who happens to be an opposing backup point guard. It might be a different story when he's drafting in two or three years but as of Saturday night, he's really going to get pummeled.

  4. I think he will do OK...

Also, remember even if he does well it doesn't matter because this is his style of play.

There are plenty of no names who have had big games because of the style of play.

Rubio will most likely be a top-5 pick when he comes out, but I'd take John Wall over him from what i've seen.

  5. It depends, Derron Williams/Chris Paul/ Jason Kidd are all obviously stronger than Rubio, but given the fact that Spain has a few big men, the defense will sink into the middle allowing for Rubio to penetrate and dump it off, or hit the outside jumper. I'm excited for this game. Oh, yeah scouts will look at him very, very closely.

  6. hes the most cravty guard ive watched for awile, the way he can steal the ball, very good at pressure defense, some people have said hes the best non NBA player in the Olympics, just watch someone his youtube videos, ive been watching him for about a year after i heard about the U16 FIBA Europe Championship were he got a quadruple double with 50 points and 20 rebounds, hes good under pressure, if the 2009 nba draft was today and Rubio was entered he would be no doubt in at least the top 3 picks, hes got a year too grow he could end up being 6'6" hes already 6'4" , hes a very good rebounder and i can't wait for 6 hours
