Today, I'm flying out to Vancouver and I'll be arriving around mid night. So what I'm asking, is how are things going in Vancouver? Are their any changes that i should know of from my last visit (last summer)? What's the weather like ? Are the garbage men on strike again? basic stuff like that....

  1. The weather is great 20 - 25 c.  The garbage collectors are not on strike, the drug community are still shooting and killing eachother.  Otherwise, everything appears to be quite normal and a good summer.

  2. No strikes  weather is great  Gas is expensive Get a day pass  for transit  $ 8.00  Lots of construction  for the Olympics   It may rain tomorrow

  3. Things are alright. It's pretty warm now. It rained today, but overall it's been hot. No strikes that I know of.

They raised bus fair, which sucks. Because of high fuel prices. So if you want to take the bus anywhere it'll cost you more.

Theres some preperation for the olympics. They're building a new sky train thing, so theres lots of construction on a couple streets.

The taxi drivers have this new thing where they can refuse service to you if they want. I don't think they were supposed to do that last year, but some taxi driver told me that now it's harder to get a taxi if you look shabby or if you're drunk, they wont pick you up.

So, you know, if you're planning on getting drunk you might not want to rely on a cab.
