I grew up in south Ga so im pretty familiar with things in Atlanta but me and my girlfriends are wanting to go out to a fun dinner this friday night and need some ideas. We had to throw out the club idea because im over 21 but one of my friends is only 20. We want to go to a fun restaurant where those of us who can can drink but we can also have a nice (not TOO pricey) dinner with maybe a band or some sort of entertainment. Were just kind of looking for a fun way to spend friday night and possibly even meet some new people. we are out of ideas and need help!!

  1. Two Urban Licks near the Carter Center.  Great food (you don't have to spend a fortune, but you can if you want) Live music, trendy, fun party atmosphere with a good looking diverse crowd. One of the coolest (andbest) restaurants I've ever eaten in. If the weather is nice ask for a table out on the patio for a view of the city skyline.  It's busy, reservations are recommended unless you don't mind a long wait at the crowded bar.

820 Ralph McGill Blvd. NE (at Freedom Pkwy.)

    404-522-4622

Follow the small signs back to the restaurant.

  2. Have you looked at Access Atlanta's website? They have like every restaurant in Atlanta listed, plus reviews and directions. Here's a link to their site:

Good luck, and hope you and your friends have a great time tomorrow night!

  3. I love Dante's, Chipotle (A taco joint, but not exactly classy, it's like a dressed up Taco Bell...), and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

Have fun but bring an umbrella, it's not supposed to stop raining until 5 am.

  4. Dante's.

  5. if you like indian food, look up imperial fez...they have belly dancing and stuff.  you might consider going to a cool tapas restaurant and ordering tons of fab appetizers and wine! have someone who's of age order the bottles of wine and enough glasses for everyone at the table. just don't get sloshed and no one will ever know! that's what we used to do when i was under 21...unless she's your DD...
