  1. Yep. Amazing that we were the party of abolition, and yet we get blamed for everything that southern democrats ever did...

...of course...facts don't mean much to a liberal.

  2. Um....we were talking about attendees, not speakers. One or two speakers does not make up for the fact that only 2% of your RNC delegates are ANY minority.....that there are still just a tiny handfull of minorities in the audience.

  3. Uh, if you're a "minority" in the Republican party then you automatically get to speak at the convention. The always push those members to the forefront in an effort to appear that they are diverse. Apparently it works as they've fooled you.

And to the "party of abolition" comment, during the 1960's the parties effectively switched as all of the old "Southern Democrats" became Republicans as they didn't really want to get on board with progress on Civil Rights issues. Do you honestly think that Lincoln would have anything to do with the contemporary Republican party? He would be appalled at the short-sighted management of the country and the promotion of extreme social positions while pursuing endless war and claiming that it's driven for a desire for peace. It's a farce really; a funny albeit tragic farce.

  4. Most all of the warm up speakers so far tonight have been minorities. Even one Democrat. Isn't life wonderful.

Edit : As i look around the delagates I have seen Black, Hispanick, Islanders, Indian, Oriental, And God only knows those you cannot tell by just a glance.
