For those of you who watch Animal Cops Houston?

Okay yesterday i asked this exact same question and accidentally put it in the wrong category. Have you seen this episode where they had to euthanize a colt not even a year old? I can't remember why but boy did upset me! I mean why even have the animal if they're not even gonna take care of it?! How do you feel about **** like this?! I'm not sure what category this would go under so i put it in horse racing because it's about a horse. The person who answered me yesterday in Law Enforcement was very rude about it.

Yeah.  I watch it, too.  I just don't understand how a person can walk past an animal who is obviously starving or in pain, and just ignore it.  Often the people are fat, too.  How dare they spend their money on food for themselves and let their horses/dogs/ cats etc, starve?  I'd like to put a chain around their neck and leave them outside without food or water, or lock them in a closet so they have to stand in their own poo and pee, with no food or water, and sores on their feet, and their toenails growing long and curling up.  I  do believe they'll pay for it one day.  It just drives me crazy, and I wish I had more land/money to rescue more horses and dogs.

I watch Animal Cops all the time. It totally makes me mad to see these people just neglect these animals for their own stupidity!! Animal

People are horrible.  I watch Animal Cops all the time and I'm astounded by some of the things that people can do to animals.  This one family had no idea that their dog was dead because it strangled itself when its collar got stuck on the fence... and there was a mom dog there too who had a litter of 12 puppies, but 10 of them had died.  How can you let that happen?

I don't understand it and I don't want to understand it... to actually understand these people, you have to be as inhumane as they are.  This semester, I'm actually working for a lawyer who prosecutes people like that in conjunction with the Humane Society... I'm kind of afraid to think of what kind of cases I'm going to come across.

Yeah that show can get gruesome at times. In one episode someones horse had a huge wound on its neck actually crawling with maggots. You could just see the fear and pain in the horses eyes. I despise when humans treat animals better than they would their fellow man, but I also despise it when they don't take care of them properly and make sure they have a good life. I wouldn't spoil my kids, nor my pets. but I'd make dam* sure they had a good life.

to 'intrigue'  your answer can be thumbs downed because you said people who aren't willing to spoil their pets should not own them. Spoiling a person animal or pet is never a good thing, its giving them more than they deserve or letting get away with things they shouldnt. Do you not understand the words you are using? If that's the case maybe you should stop posting to sites like this. Perfectly good owners are out there that need help or companionship that aren't willing to 'spoil' their pets and you would deny them based soley on that? I'd say YOU shouldn't own a pet if you can't understand things such as that.

I hate it. Horses are very sweet creatures. I saw one where a stallion had a whole in it's nech and baby flies and flies where in it. How sad.

I watch the show all the time and I think I saw that one. It makes me sick that the owners can treat their animals like that. I saw one show that had really skinny horses, no food or water in their feed buckets. But across the isle their was mounds of hay and feed that the horses were forced to look at but couldn't reach. Then the owners were going to ride them in the rodeo. I just want to slap those people.

If people want to have animals they should take care of them properly. They should treat them like their kids.

My pets will never be treated like that, they are spoiled rotten.

i say if you aren't going to "spoil" the animal or pet, you should NOT have one! it bothers me to no end. I can hardly watch the program anymore. Makes me want to cry! i saw a lady that had over 70 cats in her house and not taking care of them. they found dead cats throughout the house too. I hope these people end up in jail!
