For those of you who watched the Spain versus Greece game?

i was very impressed with rudy  fernandez thru out the game, his game was very fluid and he really knows how to score,,

08-09 is a great yr to be a blazers fan with all their young guns,,

ricky rubio on the other hand showed us even tho he's getting world wide attention as a elite level pg,  he's just 17 yrs old,, he turned the ball over several times before even reaching half court,, he is a few yrs away from becoming a star,,

marc gasol  was just their to guard the middle, but his giant frame not only guarded the paint, it clogged the whole d**n thing,, he just nids time to develop, i thnk he's gonna be a good player in the nba, maybe even as good as his brother one day,

Didn't watch it.. I'm watching the US Men's Volleyball team dominate Venezuela right now.. They're up 2-0.. 19-17 in the 3rd set..

I'm not a Portland fan, but I like Rudy Fernandez...I think he's a pretty good player and will make Portland better.

I love Ricky Rubio...he still needs to work a bit on his game, but he's getting there. He missed a 3 at the end but made it up by scoring another one right after it...he's pretty good for a 17 year old.

I'm not a Grizzlies fan either, but I thought Marc did a decent job. He and Pau were both pretty soft tonight (as always), but they did make some good plays...

I am a Team USA fan, and I don't think we have anything to worry about. I don't think any of these teams will give us THAT much trouble...

From the perspective of a redeem team fan i gotta say greece underwhelmed me, i never quite bought into them this year, especcially all the hype over there pg, so im not all that surprised. I gotta say though that Jose Calderon and Ricky Rubio are goooood. There quick, can shoot, and are very crafty with the ball. Im still not sure rubio can shine against Kobe, but i think he definetly will have a place in the NBA. The thing is spain is strong at almost every position, and they are farily deep, with about 8 guys that can play with the usa. Argentina has struggled alot already and i think there getting alot more credit then they deserve just cause they won a while ago and have the most nba players. There to old and beat up. Greece also doesnt look that good so far and i think the USA should handle them, although it should be close for a long time. But spain could really give them some problems. Do i still think the usa will win gold, yes, but i am starting to buy that spain will drag the game out till the very last shot.

The gold medal match looks like Spain-vs-USA....

I am completely impressed by Spain....

but I  dont think anyone is gonna give the US much trouble honestly......
