For those that do little rescues?

wouldn't it be nice if we had our own island or community where we could run our own rescues? we'd each have a house with whatever land we need for ANY species we choose, surrounded by other rescuers. we could help each other emotionally as well as if someone gets sick or hurt, pitch in and help with the work.

maybe there is such a place? does anyone know?

There is such a place, called Rainbow Bridge

..However, the dogs there don't really need rescued, they're just waiting for their owners. The rescuers and dogs are there just for enjoying each other until they can cross over..

It already exists in   HEAVEN.. 8-)

GOD and NOAH who had the ark God commanded him to build for the creatures ... awaits each and every one of us who RESCUES the sweet precious creatures God made on the earth..

All of Gods creatures will be there.  8-)

try Yahoo Groups, not a real life place, but they have a chategory for rescue and adoption...find a group there suitable for you and you can at least have someone to talk to

Oh my god I'd love it, I could take in rescued horses, cats, and dogs. It's always been my dream to run a rescue centre of my own, this would be absolute heaven!!
