  1. Where did you go? Honalulu Hawaii

How was it? So much fun!  We did everything we could and the sites were beautiful.

Would you do it again? Going in November

About how much did you spend? $1800.00 (lots of site seeing)

When did you go? Feb 96 and Oct 05

How long did you go? Just over 1 week.  If it wasn't for the cost of the hotel we probably would have stayed longer.

  2. Tahiti (which is a group of islands ... we were on Bora Bora and two others).  It was like paradise!  The most incredible blue water I've ever seen, gorgeous sunshine, tropical flowers growing wild everywhere.  For some of the nights, we stayed in a bungalow built on stilts over the water.  You could look down through a window in the bedroom floor and see tropical fish swimming underneath.  Just remembering the ocean breezes in that room makes me feel relaxed!   It took 17 hours on a plane to get there, and the instant we landed, we knew it was worth it.  Yes, we'd do it again, though it's expensive.  I don't remember the exact cost now, but I think it was around $10,000 for 10 days.  That was almost 10 years ago now.

  3. {{sniff sniff}} we only did an over night at the local bed and breakfast it was nice we had a young son and couldnt be away from him long because i was nursing and besides we didnt really have the money and before anyone gets hollier then thou we had been together 10 years before getting married so having a son before being married really wasnt a big deal

it was a real nice place super sweet woman and her husband ran it i wish we could go back every annaviersary so far we spend our honeymoon there and went back for our one year annavarisary hopefully we can go agian this year when were there thats the kind of life i want country life living on a farm hard work simpaler time...

  4. Park City, Utah for 10 days, end of January 2007.

It was amazing!  We rented a condo on VRBO.com instead of a hotel; cost about $215/night for a condo w/ 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, living room w/ plasma TV, gas fireplace, private deck w/ private hot tub - there was also an indoor hot tub & washing machine/dryer that all 8 units shared.

While in Park City we skiied, snowboarded, went scouting for wildlife, took a hot air balloon ride, snowmobiled, snowtubed & hit a couple of spas.

It was an incredible winter trip that I can't wait to do again!

  5. Greece for 10 days--Athens and Santorini.  We had a fabulous time and I would recommend it to all.  We would like to go back again one day...maybe even do a Mediterranean cruise.  For the flight and hotels, we spent about $4,500--we got an incredible deal by booking it ourselves and still stayed in luxury hotels!

  6. We drove 4,800 miles from St. Louis to LA and back. We were gone 15 days and stayed in about 10 different towns. It cost us something like $2,500 and it was awesome! We visited the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Disney Land, the Pacific Ocean, Las Vegas, and Rocky Mountain National Park, to name a few.

I would do it again in a heartbeat – if I only had that much vacation to spare and gas would go back down to where it was two years ago.

  7. Get a lock in at a gas station thats where mine was, it was GREAT!!!

  8. Where did you go? Turtle Island, Fiji

How was it? Fiji is gorgeous. There's so much to do. You can go snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, etc. You will definitely be relaxed when you return home.

Would you do it again? Yes, in a heartbeat.

About how much did you spend? Tickets were $3600 (for two), but we bought them in advance. If you wait until the last minute they can be as much as $4,000+ per ticket. The bures range from $1,800 to $2,600 (per night).

    When did you go? October.

How long did you go? 7 days/6 nights

  9. We went to Cancun, Mexico

    It was AMAZING

    Yes I'd do it again

the trip was about 2400 but we spent an extra 600 for an excursion for the two of us together (included all day excursion, plus swimming with the dolphins and souveniers)

We were married april 26 and left for the HM april 28

We stayed until that following saturday :)

  10. Belize.

    Amazing, adventurous, affordable.

Whenever we can get time off from work.

About $1000 + airfare (food and accomodations included)

I've gone in March and June.  March was better, but June was good too.

    10 days.

Totally recommend Belize.  It's English speaking, uses a currency that tied to the USD 2 to 1 and it's not an overly poor country, so it's not heart-breaking or exploitive.  Belize is also a very eco-friendly place, if that's something that matters to you (and it should : )  It has the second largest barrier reef if you're into snorkeling or diving; islands; and jungle.

  11. We went to Disney World in Orlando for our honeymoon, and it was awesome.  We stayed in one of the nice hotels and bought the vacation where all meals are included.  Surprisingly enough, there are many romantic restaurants and couples activities at Disney World, including a couples massage at a nice spa and Pleasure Island.  I think we spent about $1,500 for five days.  This was in August.  I would definitely do it again; actually we're talking about doing it again this winter (we've been married for five years).
