There are so many people who say that God was there for them when they needed him. I would be interested to know how he helped you and what was the situation you were in. Thank you.

  1. I got home late last Saturday, with a couple of stiff ones in me and I managed to get nekkid and stumble into bed and there he was!  He said to me:   "honey, come on over, I'm gonna take you to haven and I'm gonna show you h**l" - So, there it is!  He's real, he exists and I'm having his baby in another 6 months

  2. excuse the individual who wrote the nonsense of religion! I conseder myself not religious, but spiritual, denominations tend to put God in a box. Time will come for his calling if it hasn't yet passed him by, God gives you a glance sometimes and you miss it.

God is there for me all the time, but if you're meaning a specific sign or circumstance that God has shown his love for me then I'd have to say that he was there for me today, about 2 hours ago. I'm a mother of three, and my husband is out training for a truck driving job, and well while in training he doesn't make very good money, I have two girls that are in school, one just started kindergarten. I, like many other mothers want to be able to provide new school clothes for them every new school year, but especially for the kindergartener. I was stressed to the max and the night before last, I prayed about that situation and I asked God to show his love for me, this morning, my neighbor showed up at the door with more clothes than I even imagined. God knows the desires of your heart!!! God shows himself in all we do, even minor things, we just miss those glances he gives us sometimes. We all need to be a little more alert to the things God shows us, He's doing it all the time, we just don't realize it, cause we're wrapped up in everyday life, and matters of this world. I hope this helped you in anyway that you needed. God Bless!!!

I submit to God, I resist the devil and flees from me. I draw near to God and He draws near to me.    James 4:7-8 (NKJV)

  3. At soccer practice, other people would call it a lucky kick, but it was him. One that you'll probably believe is that the water in my bathtub wouldn't go down, and i really needed a shower (and the water was really gross) so i stood in a laundry bucket and took a shower, it wasn't that hard. Then when i was done the water started to drain :) and i told God "Thank you" a lot, and when the water was gone, the gross stuff was still there, so i begged God to PLEASE let the gross stuff go down the drain with the water from the bucket, and it did. I just knew it was him.

  4. This morning He let me wake up.

  5. God healed my back. I went to an aerobics class and put my back out so bad that I could not walk standing up only by leaning sideways. I went to a church and they not knowing anything about it said God wanted to heal me and I felt the power of God as it went through my body. That is one feeling I will never forget.

Oh yes, I went to chiropractors and they were unable to do anything except to tell me sleep on the floor.

  6. I do not know about all the other things you ask, but I like to think of God in the same way that Owen Meany did; he (paraphrasing) pointed at a basketball hoop and said to his friend that God is like that hoop, when the sun goes down, I can't see it anymore, but I know it is there.

I am not a funide or a holy roller - I just happen to think their is a God.

Has he helped me? I don't have any evidence. But I think that I have come out of a lot of sticky situations and it would be nice to think that someone is on my side.

  7. Everyday we're facing challenge in this life that request God's help, its not about a specific situation. You're not going to see God in person to give you help or hear his voice to tell you do or don't do something, it's all about the way you choose to live your life. By example...

If you believe in God and observe his principles, you will find his help* cause you'll always do your best to do the right thing in every situation.

*There are all kind of people who claim they observe God's principles but I meant true Christians in my answer, who never get involved in those kind of bad stuff out there, not those who called themselves «Christians» and their actions are worse than those who don't even know God's principles.

  8. Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.

Religion is a disease of the mind, born of fear, which has done nothing but bring untold misery down upon the human race.

  9. He's there for me all the time. But here's one that strikes me most..

A few months ago I was a total idiot. I started to pay more attention to Satan than to God. And I tried to commit suicide. I took probably over two hundred tylenol pills, niquil, advil, and all kinds of stuff. My dad drove me to school and a few minutes into health class, my mind shut down. I couldn't see, think, hear correctly.. I just remember everything spinning. My friend told the teacher something was wrong and they carried me to the nurse. I couldn't sit up. Everytime I made a move, I fell off the chair. The principal had to hold me upright so I wouldn't fall. I remember drifting in and out.

I remember waking up in an ambulance for a second, and then in the hospital when they were trying to force tubes through my nose and throat, wires attached to me everywhere. That's when I went totally crazy and just tried to attack everyone there... I was biting, kicking, scratching, screaming.

Then I remember waking up again, and everything felt fine.. like nothing had ever happened. They came back with blood results (which they took before they put charcoal into my system to get rid of the drugs) and just looked at me strangely, saying "Well.. your blood showns no signs of any medicine. Not even a single trace." That's when it hit me.

No one lives after taking so much medicine. Especially if they took it with vodka. And the fact that they found nothing from the medicines? geez.

I think it was God who saved me, because in the bible it says he helps those who haven't found him yet... like me then. Anyone can argue with me, but I know it was God.

  10. our father is always with me. so is our mother. always. too bad so many of my brothers and sisters ignore the love our parents give us for free, and instead heap nothing but s**t on the love that gave birth to them. but you know how the song goes 'It all comes back to you, you're gonna get what you deserve, try and test that, you're bound to get served!'

  11. The truth is that Jesus is God, and He saves and gives all blessings freely with salvation!  :)

The truth is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal h**l is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you are saved!

Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die :)

  12. let me recall... humm... never

  13. A family member was having an issue with an unwelcome guest... so I prayed for the presence to leave and to stay away.  According to my family member, it never returned and she was able to sleep peacefully last night.  He gave my family and I peace.  That's a gift that hardly anyone can give me.

  14. He allows you and I to breathe

Psalms 104:29   Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust

  15. When I have anxiety I spend just a few seconds saying a prayer, it often helps me feel better :D
