What do you usually bring? What are some healthy options? What do you usually eat for lunch?

  1. ok i normally bring, a sanwich with like salami and cucumber on whole meal bread. a banana, an orange, a good muesli bar.(not those choccie block carbo sugar packed ones,but the healthy ones) and that normally gets me thru school.

    with sandwiches you have to be wild. try combinations you really think wouldnt work.

    like wraps with salad leaves,avocado,roast pork ,mayo and pears.

    or grilled eggplant in a sandwich or capsicum!

    there are so many things you can do

    or mustard and pickles with eggplant.

    or bring salad or left overs from last nights dinner.

    heres a handy hint though,this mite just be me but i hate the meats you get from the supermarket deli,try going to a proper deli or butcher, and a real fruit and vege store,they may be less convieniant but the food is far better.oh and generally try to stay away from rice,because it dries up in your lunch box. and dont have cooked chicken by itself in a sanwich as it dries up and tastes ferral.  =)

  3. I don't bring lunch to school, but I do bring breakfast to work...

    Fat-free yogurt (Yoplait's thick Key Lime Pie...yumm!!)

    Sugar-free jello

    2 string cheese

    Granola bar (or an oatmeal packet if I'll be around a microwave)

    Sometimes a banana or some grapes too

    Flat-out wraps are really good to wrap almost anything in:  Peanut butter w/ bananas, turkey/ham w/ lettuce, a salad, turkey pepperoni w/ cheese and sauce.

  4. I don't go to school - but for work I always bring a sandwich (turkey & cheese or roast beef & cheese) with low fat mayo - an apple, grapes or baby carrots and then something sweet for the afternoon (100 calorie packs or something along those lines...) that always satisfies me!

  5. I bring strawberries, carrots, celery, rice cakes, and grapes. Never do i bring an apple tho as i never eat it :P
