For those who don't believe in the rockets........?

All of you just seem like haters! You're so jealous because they got artest and your team didn't especially you d**n lakers fans. My question is and I need an argument here. With all injuries aside and all that nonsense why shouldn't the rockets be able to win the championship this upcoming year?

ok here's the thing... The rockets will be far better than the lakers or any Western Conference team. We have added depth to our team and If all goes well and no injuries the Rockets should be favored to win the West. So now lets see what line ups we have.

PG Alston (Could of got out the first round if he wasnt hurt)

SG T-Mac ( Dominate Scorer and very unselfish)

SF Artest ( Can Score when he wants 2 Physical, play all 5 positions, prolly the best lockdown defender in the game.

PF Scola (One year under his belt is only gonna get better, intanglebles)

C Yao( No questions ask the best Center in the Game hopefully he stays healthy.

Bench

Battier (lock down defender, shoots the 3 good

Barry ( 6-7 pg or sg dare leave him open

Head ( go head leave him open to

Francis ( he is getting in shape right now beware)

Brooks ( lightning bolt)

Hayes( physical can defend anyone)

landry( hopefully we can get him back to us gonna be a great player)

Thats just a deep roster.. How can u people hate that the rockets just jump to the number 1 contender in the west

Wow and you call us a hater since when could the rockets beat the lakers. So let's say Bynum dosent's destroy Yao in the first few minutes then lets see you think artest Pau artest is 6-7 and you think he can guard a 7-0 than you are delusional or are you going to guard Kobe with artest because if you are then Battier is going to guard Pau and Battier is only 6-8. Then you would have T Mac guard Odom that is a huge mismatch odom would post T Mac till he is fouled out so how do you predict you're rockets are going to beat the huge frontcourt of the lakers with scola or artest at power forward. Scola is 6-9 so I think the lakers will own the rockets.

Did you say "with all injuries aside" just because you know that your own team's Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady's playing style are highly prone to injury?

The reason the Rockets can't go far in the playoffs these past few years is because one of the duo,Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady,is always injured.There are times that both of them are injured for a long time.

Yeah they will. I can see this as a lineup that can match up tightly with the defending champs in green

C: Yao Ming

PF: Shane Battier

SF: Ron Artest

SG: T-Mac

PG: Rafer Alston or Francis (or whatever it is)

6th man: Scola or Head

Check their records. Let's start with T-Mac. This guy was one of the best players to play the game but his team has never made it out of the first round. It's a curse and he needs to break that curse now or never. Now let's move on to Yao. Yao is great C but he'll not play well against good, strong, physical defenders. Now let's move to Artest. He's a great defender and he can score but he'll often goes crazy and doing crazy things that will not help the team.

Let's combine all that and you see there's not much of a chance they will even make it out of the first round alone, much less the championship.

If no injuries for the Lakers next season, this lineup is unstoppable. I'm happy we didn't get Artest. Now with this lineup, every1 is in their NATURAL position and thats just a championship right there.
