  1. well yeah they may be a little disappointed but as long as u did ur over all best u can do then how mad could they get

just explain to them that u tried ur best and u cant do much better than that

and dont feel bad we all get bad grades thats just part of life and its a learnin experience so that maybe next time u will study harder ur w/e but dont worry all that much about it

    good luck :) <3

  2. I assume you mean college entrance tests like ACT or SAT. I can give you a parent's perspective:  It's your exam score, not mine. I wouldn't be angry or sad if you did poorly; I would just try to help you consider the consequences and decide where to go from there.

If you have prepared as much as you could and really did your best on the exam, then I'd encourage you to try again, but also to look at colleges that don't require high scores for admission.  You can still do very well in life and have any career you choose if you go to a less selective school.  If you didn't prepare or study very much, I would simply point out that this is the result and suggest you take it again.  But next time take a prep class or do practice tests beforehand.

I would never be disappointed IN you; I might be disappointed FOR you, because I would understand how you feel and mothers don't like to see their kids unhappy.  Just tell your parents that you got your score and it was disappointing.  Then tell them what it is, and if you're willing to take the test again, say so right away.

Good luck; don't give up.  One bad exam does not ruin a life.

  3. If i think i did badly before you get the results just be like i feel like i didnt do that well the test was really difficult and then from there either they expected it so it wasnt a huge surprise or you did well so it is pleasant...usually works for me

  4. I got bad exam results just last week, but they understand me because they know that not all the time, I will have high grades. That's what parents' mentality should be.

  5. i told my parents my SAT score... i mean they knew i was upset about it but we also all know i'm a horrible test-taker lol.

i think as long as you did your best, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

  6. well, I'm good at exams, so i didn't have a problem with my exam scores.

BUUT, in my computer class, i got 30% on my final project, witch was worth 15% of my grade. When i told my mom that, she laughed, and when she saw my report card, she didn't even care about the final project score, because i still got over 80%.
