For those who have been to the 9:30 club in DC?

Does the band play all night, or do they have a DJ and dancing in between?

Most often there are two or three bands on the same bill; opening bands may play 30 to 45 minute sets each before the headling act takes the stage. That said, I've been to performances with only one band playing over 2 hours with no opening act. Plus I've been to dance events at the 9:30 club where the deejays each played 45 minute sets. The club always plays recorded music between bands.
