At what age did you get them and how much did you pay?

at age 13 my parents paid like 4,000-5,000 $$$

i was 11 when i got them and i was 15 when i go them taken off and my peoples paid 4800!

i got them in July 2008. I am 17 years old and my parents had to pay $4,150.00. Yeah, it's a h**l of a lot of money, but if it's all going to be worth it in the end, hopefully, i am crossing my fingers.

I'm 26, got my braces for the first time when I was 25, and I am paying about $4800 for mine.  I have mostly TMJ problems with crowding and a crossbite, little cosmetic issues.  I am using the Damon System.  I will also have additional TMJ splinting done after my braces come off, in addition to traditional retainers.  I should have my braces on for a total of about 18months.

I was in 5th grade, had them for 3 1/2 years, and my parents paid $3500.   I am 30 years old now so that was about 20 years ago--it is hard to believe I am that old :)
