This movie is more of a children's movie, rather than a movie that people 30 years of age or older will enjoy (the people that grew up on Star Wars). If you are looking for a family movie to go see, it will be good. I can't promise you the adults will enjoy. I am 13, a Star Wars fanitaic, and I hated it. It killed the franchise. If you are at least 12+, you won't enjoy it.

So, the conclusion. The two girls will possibly enjoy it.

If you want to take your siblings for them to enjoy, do it. But I would suggest you take your cell phone and text the whole time. The plot was stupid. They will enjoy the animations, and it does have some humor. But the characters are not how they are suppose to be.

If you actually know what the movie is supposed to be I think it would be something to share with the siblings.  This movie is the pilot for the new animated series that will debut this fall on TCN (The Cartoon Network).  If you go to see it expecting to see a grand sweeping story line like the ones in the other 6 movies then you'll be disappointed because this movie doesn't have that ... then again, it was never supposed to have it.  This was actually never supposed to have been a movie in the first place.  When Lucas and the animation department were watching some of the finished episodes of the series on a theater sized screen a idea popped into George's head and he asked the others there what they thought about releasing the pilot to this series to theaters so fans can see it on the big screen.  They thought it was a good idea so now we have it.  

The problem is the fault of Lucas ... in a rare PR mistake he didn't really get info out there for fans until a couple weeks before the release.  That's why many people don't care for the movie ... because they didn't know what they were going to see and it wasn't what they thought it was going to be.

This movie takes up only 4 days of the story line ... just 4 days ... so you can't have that grand sweeping story line but as a "pilot" episode it would seem to set things up great for the upcoming series.

In short ... go for it.  I think all of you will enjoy the experience.

As for better than the OT ... never BUT ... it does bring back a lot of the "feel" that the OT had ... can't really describe it but it was pretty cool.

It is more of a kids movie.

They should love it because it's an animation,

and quite entertaining for children.
