For those who have travelled through South America?

Question

I would love your opinion on which is the best country in terms of people, food, scenary, etc. I have travelled to all of the countries (except Surinam, Guayana and Franch Guyana) and would love to have your opinion. I know you will be biased if you're from a certain country but will love to read reason why you love a particular country.

Colombia, you can find here all kind of food, weather, festivals, people, architecture. You can be at the beach at 10 am, then at 10.30 am you can be at the highest mountain. here you can have the best coffee ever. You can choose which ocean to visit, and from one to the other one won't take you more than 1 hour. You can be in the main city or in the Amazon rain forest. You can do whatever you want here.

I've only been to Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Brasil.....and I've traveled extensively through Colombia being that its my home country.....

For me, it is very hard to choose which country is better than the other. I feel I've had a Unique experience in each country I've visited not only in South America, but Africa, Mid East, Europe and Asia.....

I will say that in South America, Colombia is pretty diverse in terms of land, people, food, etc.....

I think that is what makes the Country attractive but travelers are kept away because of the fear of the internal problems.

I found Paraguay pretty interesting in terms of the Indigenous culture that strives in the entire Country. I stayed in a small town outside of Asunción and everyone spoke in Guarani, their indigenous language.....Most of the older folks in the town didn't speak Spanish.....So, I had a tough time getting my message through.  Fun regardless.

On a last note, Buenos Aires was a city that made me feel , I wasn't in South America anymore. He had such a European feel to it....its also the best Country to watch a Futbol match....

Argentina is the best. Very cultural, beautiful and absolutely interesting.

Incredible food. I think the best in the world!!.

You have Buenos Aires and the Patagonia that is beautiful.

Anyway if you go to Argentina,you have to go to Brazil that's amazing too.
