I just visited Bali last month. Things that are worth seeing, in my opinion:

1. Art

Bali is an art paradise! From sculptures, to architecture, to paintings... If you're an art lover, Bali is definitely worth visiting!

2. Shopping

Due to the good exchange rates, shopping becomes really cheap (for me!). From exquisite art pieces to traditional attires, you can shop till you literally drop. And remember to bargain. Most of the time, you can get the things you want for less than half of the marked-up price.

3. Night-life

There's plenty of night-life from drinking to clubbing to discoing... ^_^

However, things to watch out for:

1. The HOT weather... remember your sunscreens... or you'll end up looking like layered cake

2. Taxi drivers... females, esp... Please be careful...

It's also advisable that you arm yourself with a few useful phrases of local language... good for bargaining! =D

I actually like the morning sounds within the hotel compounds. Bamboo xylaphones. The gardens are lush and  green.  The people are gorgeous, friendly.  They do hassle you sometimes to make a sale, but times are hard for them since the bombing. White water rafting and Waterbomb Park were highlights on my holiday there.
