For those who love japan, which country are you from?

i was perusing the japan question area and occured to myself who are these people who say they love japan? it just got me curious on your demography.

im assuming that probably the majority might be asians because of our regional proximity. please kindly state your country or race of origin, etc.

raised primarily in the uk but ive also lived in usa and japan as well. there's just something about japan that i feel so connected to. i was in a store a couple of days ago and there were three guys who were talking in kansai ben and i just felt so happy just listening to them. silly... i know : )-

im half japanese, my mum is from osaka but i wasn't raised like a lot of halfs. i didnt go to saturday school or any of that and my dad didn't like speaking japanese at home. maybe that's why i'm so grateful to know japan now. gahh its hard to put it in words. i just really love it i guess, for reasons even i don't really understand. it just calms me lol

US. Taught in Japan. Wish I had never left. People asked me, "Could you live in Japan?" My answer was always, "I could die there." If you said to me that I had to go to Japan but I would never be able to go home I'd reply, "Okay!"

I'm half Japanese and half Korean and I was born in Japan and lived there until I was 5. I still visit family there frequently and I love going. Japan to me, is a very warm and friendly country. Even though it does have its flaws I still love it!
