For those who love the 80's,what did you like best about it?

Since this is in the movies section, I love how 80's movies are so ridiculous now in the year 2008 but back then they were the best.  The effects were cheesy, the actors LOOKED 80's, the story lines wouldn't work now but they worked then.  I enjoyed the innocence that 80's movies had and how they made you feel good.  The clothes and music are great too.

jim hansen, from movies to shows. the man was a genius. in the early 90's, they had a show that showed "behind the scenes" work of jim hansen. and though i was young, i remember it like it was yesterday.
